Sean Ruthen is a senior project architect at James K.M. Cheng Architects in Vancouver. Originally from the Maritimes, Sean received his architecture degree at the University of British Columbia in 2001, and he has called Metro Vancouver home for well over two decades now.
With a focus on project delivery and construction administration during his internship at Hancock Bruckner Eng & Wright (now IBI Group), Sean has since that time contributed to the construction of several new multi-family residential projects along False Creek in downtown Vancouver, as well as in New Westminster, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Richmond.
He also occasionally writes for both Canadian Architect and Spacing Magazine, the latter of which he has now been a contributing editor for the past decade.
