Robert Lemon has had four decades of experience with heritage conservation in British Columbia.
From 1991 to 1996 Lemon was the Senior Heritage Planner for the City of Vancouver where he was involved in landmark building rehabilitation projects, the introduction of the current heritage legislation, and where he developed the city’s transfer of density policy, Recent Landmarks program and Heritage Interiors initiatives.
The firm of Robert Lemon Architect Inc. specializes in heritage consulting as well as custom residential commissions. Landmark heritage building rehabilitation projects include The Architecture Centre (with Busby), downtown YMCA (with Endall Elliot), Hotel Georgia (Endall Elliot), two historic buildings at Jameson House (Foster + Partners / Francl Architecture) and Shannon Estate (Perkins + Will) all of which have received City of Vancouver Heritage Awards.
