As founding partner of Fast + Epp, Paul is passionate about design excellence. He has been recognized for his unconventional use of materials, emerging as a leader in architecturally exposed structures, often pushing the design envelope to create hybrids of timber, concrete, and steel. He was lead engineer on many of the firm’s most prominent projects including the 2010 Richmond Oval Roof, the Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre and the Brock Commons Tallwood House at UBC.
His firm has been involved with projects in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and has been granted over 90 national and international engineering awards.
Paul is an Honorary Member of the Architectural Institute of B.C. and a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers based in the United Kingdom.
