Jennifer is an architect with over a decade of experience delivering complex, high-performance projects, from adaptive reuse and affordable housing to regional infrastructure. She is Principal of Lateral Agency – a regenerative development practice, strategic consultancy, and research and capacity-building platform created in the wake of the IPCC 2018 Special Report to support regenerative solutions to complex challenges of climate, equity and holistic health at scale.
Jennifer is a Fellow with the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC), founding Chair of the RAIC Committee on Regenerative Environments (CORE) and the Vancouver Design Foundation, member of various governmental and non-governmental advisories (including the City of Vancouver’s Collaborative Leadership AG, and BC Housing’s Mobilizing Building Adaptation and Resilience project), Adjunct Faculty in UBC SALA and the Masters of Engineering Leadership program, and a steward of grassroots efforts (including Architects Declare, Architects Divest).
She is also the proud mother of a four-year-old girl and a former competitive Thai boxer.
